Since Niharika Konidela is getting married in December, she has opted out of a film starring Ashok Selvan in the lead role. Following this, she has been replaced by Megha Akash.
The movie is directed by Swathini, who has assisted Susienthiran earlier. The director says they parted ways with Niharika mutually since the actress wanted some personal space to get ready for wedding.
Megha will play a tango dancer in the movie, tipped to be a dramedy. She will undergo tango dance classes and the shoot is expected to start once the Covid-19 induced restrictions are over.
Last month, Niharika Konidela got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Chaitanya Jonnalagadda at Trident Hotel in Hyderabad.
Only family members and close friends were invited for the event, in view of the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej, Kalyan Dhev and Panjaa Vaishnav Tej were among the celebrities who had attended the engagement.
