Netflix took up a humongous project named ‘Baahubali-Before The Beginning’ which dwells more into the life of iconic character Sivagami and other storylines related to Mahishmati kingdom.
It was started a long time ago but sources said Netflix wasn’t satisfied by the output and scrapped the project.
By that time, nearly Rs 100 crore was reportedly spent and 70 per cent of the shoot was completed.
But Netflix decided not to compromise on the quality and brought in a new team and sources say that nearly Rs 200 crore has been allotted for this project.
Wahima Gabbi will be playing the role of Sivagami and from what we hear, Nayanthara is going to play a crucial role in this project. Official confirmation on this project is expected soon.
