Movietron Production has officially launched its second production venture with a traditional and auspicious pooja ceremony held in Chennai. Titled “GOOD NEWS,” the film is positioned as a wholesome family entertainer that promises a perfect blend of emotions, humour, and heartwarming moments for audiences of all ages.

The launch ceremony was graced by several distinguished personalities from the Tamil film industry. The first shot was ceremonially called by director Vijay, while the camera was switched on by legendary filmmaker Bala, marking an auspicious beginning for the project. Actor Arya attended the event as a special guest and conveyed his best wishes to the entire team.

Produced under the banner of Movietron Production, Saivinoth Jayakumar proudly presents Production No. 2, titled “GOOD NEWS,” with Saiprabhu Jayakumar serving as the Co-Producer.

The film marks the directorial debut of NagendraMurugan, who has previously worked under acclaimed filmmaker Pandiraj, gaining valuable experience in crafting emotionally engaging family entertainers. With GOOD NEWS, he now embarks on his independent directorial journey, bringing his own vision and storytelling style to the big screen.

The film also introduces Kalyani Anil as the female lead, marking her Tamil cinema debut opposite Ashwin. The ensemble cast features Jayaram, Asha Sarath, Muthukumar, Jaffer, Kuraishi, Deepa, Vinothini, Divya, Manimegalai, and several other talented artistes.

Backed by a strong technical crew, the film has Praveenkumar handling cinematography, Karthickvasan as Art Director, Siddukumar composing the music, Arjune Babu as Editor, L. M. Dhanasehar as Executive Producer, and PRO Rekha handling publicity.

Principal photography is set to commence immediately, with the shoot scheduled across various locations in and around Chennai.

மூவிட்ரான் புரொடக்ஷன் (Movietron Production) நிறுவனம் தங்களது இரண்டாவது தயாரிப்புப் படத்தைத் சென்னையில் பாரம்பரிய முறைப்படி, பூஜையுடன் அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாகத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது. “குட் நியூஸ்” (GOOD NEWS) என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ள இத்திரைப்படம், அனைத்து வயதினரும் ரசித்து மகிழும் வண்ணம், பாசம், நகைச்சுவை மற்றும் நெஞ்சை நெகிழ வைக்கும் தருணங்கள் நிறைந்த ஒரு முழுமையான குடும்பத் திரைப்படமாக உருவாகவுள்ளது.

இவ்விழாவில் தமிழ் திரையுலகைச் சேர்ந்த பல முக்கிய பிரமுகர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு படக்குழுவினரை வாழ்த்தினர். படத்தின் முதல் காட்சிக்கான க்ளாப் அடித்து இயக்குநர் விஜய் துவக்கி வைக்க, புகழ்பெற்ற இயக்குநர் பாலா கேமராவை ஆன் செய்து படப்பிடிப்பைத் தொடங்கி வைத்தார். நடிகர் ஆர்யா சிறப்பு விருந்தினராகக் கலந்துகொண்டு படக்குழுவினர் அனைவருக்கும் தனது மனமார்ந்த வாழ்த்துகளைத் தெரிவித்தார்.

மூவிட்ரான் புரொடக்ஷன் பேனரின் கீழ் சாய்வினோத் ஜெயக்குமார் பெருமையுடன் தயாரிக்கும் இத்திரைப்படத்திற்கு, சாய்பிரபு ஜெயக்குமார் இணை தயாரிப்பாளராக இருக்கிறார்.

பிரபல இயக்குநர் பாண்டிராஜிடம் உதவி இயக்குநராகப் பணிபுரிந்து, குடும்பங்கள் ரசிக்கும்படியான உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான கதைகளை உருவாக்குவதில் சிறந்த அனுபவம் பெற்ற நாகேந்திரமுருகன் இத்திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் இயக்குநராக அறிமுகமாகிறார். “குட் நியூஸ்” படத்தின் மூலம் அவர் தனது தனித்துவமான இயக்கத்திலும், கதைசொல்லல் பாணியிலும் வெள்ளித்திரையில் தடம் பதிக்கவுள்ளார்.

இப்படத்தில் அஸ்வின் கதாநாயகனாக நடிக்க, அவருக்கு ஜோடியாக கல்யாணி அனில் கதாநாயகியாக தமிழ் சினிமாவில் அறிமுகமாகிறார். மேலும், ஜெயராம், ஆஷா சரத், முத்துக்குமார், ஜாஃபர், குரேஷி, தீபா, வினோதினி, திவ்யா, மணிமேகலை உள்ளிட்ட பல முன்னணி நட்சத்திரங்கள் இப்படத்தில் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடிக்கின்றனர்.
