After the musical video treat from the ‘Andhadhun’ remake team on Christmas with Prashanth playing music, now it has been officially announced that this movie has been titled as ‘Andhagan’, meaning a visually challenged man.
This Tamil remake is directed by JJ Frederick of Jyothika starrer ‘Ponmagal Vandhaal’ fame and will also star Simran and Karthik in important roles.
This film is produced by Prashanth’s father Thiagarajan’s Staar Movies. ‘Andhagan’ has music by Santhosh Narayanan and releases in summer 2021.
Director Mohan Raja had recently walked out of the project, after which Fredrick was roped in to helm the film.
It was said that Raja opted out of the project due to his other commitments. Following this, Thiagarajan who is holding the rights of the film had roped in Fredrick to direct the remake.
