Lyca Production Subaskaran presents and Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies produce magnum opus “Ponniyin Selvan”

The prestigious project has been shot across India and the final schedules of the film were shot in Madhya Pradesh and Hyderabad. The final scenes were shot in Pollachi. With this the first part of the film has been wrapped up said the makers.

Ponniyin Selvan is a widely-acclaimed novel and celebrated across generations that lured readers. When many failed to cash in on the opportunity of making it into a film, Mani Ratnam took it in his hands. This also made several people resort to novel reading before the completion of the film. “This is a film of a lifetime and can never happen again in any of our careers. We are excited to watch the film,” say the stars who have been a part of the project. The anticipation has been mutual across the world.

“Ponniyin Selvan-1” will hit the screens in the summer of 2022.

எற்கனவே இதை படித்து பலர் பரவசமாகினர்.
பலரும் இதை படமாக்க நினைத்து முடியாமல் போனது. ஆனால் அதை முடித்து காட்டிள்ளார் மணிரத்னம். மணிரத்னம் “பொன்னியின்செல்வன்” எடுக்கிறார் என்றதும் , படம் ரிலீஸ்க்கு முன் நாவலை முதலில் படித்து விடவேண்டும் என்று ஆவலில் உலகம் முழுக்க பலர் இதை இப்பொழுது படித்து வருகிறார்கள் என்பது குறிப்பிடத் தக்கது.
