If reports are to be believed, Priyamani has replaced Keerthy Suresh in upcoming Bollywood flick ‘Maidaan’, which has Ajay Devgn in the lead role.
It is to be noted that Keerthy was set to make her debut in Bollywood in ‘Maidaan’ produced by Boney Kapoor. Statring Ajay Devgn in the lead, the movie is a biopic on football player and coach Syed Abdul Rahim.
Keerthy, who was set to play Rahim’s wife, even underwent a heavy diet and workout regime, and achieved the weight required for her Bollywood debut with ‘Badhaai Ho’ director Amit Sharma.
However, reports now state Priyamani would replace her, as Keerthy was worried that she might be stereotyped in such roles. But there is no official confirmation on the same.
