Director Madhumita of ‘Vallamai Tharayo’, ‘Kolai Kolaiya Mundhirika’ and ‘Moone Moonu Varthai’ fame, won the appreciation of many with her last year’s venture ‘K.D’.
Now she has given raise to many an eyebrow by losing 20 kgs of weight. She made it possible with planned diet and workouts in a matter of seven months- from March 1 to October 1 this year.
Expressing happiness, she posted, “Thanks a lot!! This is what I did but this may not work for everyone since each of our bodies are different!
1. Only home cooked food. No eating outside..
2. Working out for two hours everyday..
3. Calorie counting. Measure and eat.”
Madhumita added: “There is no magical portion I realised. I didn’t put the weight overnight, so the weight wasn’t going to come off overnight. It takes effort. It takes stubbornness. And I was never hard on myself. If I failed and overate on some day, I did better from the next day.”
