Vijay’s Leo released on October 19 amid sky-high expectations. However, the film opened to mixed reviews, with critics blaming the lackluster script penned by Lokesh.
In a latest promotional interview, Lokesh Kanagaraj was asked about the mixed reviews and the director’s reaction was quite classy.
“I will wait for another 4, 5 days and see what the audiences and netizens say on social media. I will analyze the criticism and implement the positive feedback in my next project (Thalaivar171) which will commence in March or April next year,” Lokesh said.
‘Leo’ is part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). While the film is high on style and technical finesse, the story and narrative surprisingly took the back seat.
On the other hand, ‘Leo’ is minting money at the box office. The film has grossed nearly Rs 350 crore within 4 days of its release.
