Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed the sequel, ‘Kaithi 2’, and shared updates on the highly anticipated short film, Origins of LCU.
To commemorate ‘Kaithi’ milestone, Lokesh Kanagaraj shared a special post expressing gratitude to Karthi and the team. He wrote, “It all started from here! Grateful to @Karthi_Offl sir, @Prabhu_sr sir, and the ‘universe’ for making this happen. Dilli will return soon.”

Lokesh Kanagaraj also unveiled a poster for ‘Origins of LCU’, a short film exploring the birth of the action thriller franchise.
Titled Chapter Zero, the 10-minute prelude promises to unravel the concept behind building an action cinema universe in Tamil cinema.
The project features key pillars of LCU, including Narain, Arjun Das, Kalidas Jayaram, Anirudh Ravichander, and Philomin Raj.
