Kazhuvethi Moorkkan – Review by Naveen

Action packed village drama

Kazhuvethi Moorkkan

– Review

Arulnithi and Santhosh Pratap are friends who are from different castes. Arulnithi always stands up whenever Santhosh is faced with a problem.
Problems arise when a political party tries to take dominance in the village through caste politics.
However, Santhosh is against it. The party members hatch a plan against Santhosh. What happens next, how does this affect Arulnithi forms the rest of the story.
Director Gowtham Raj has made the story based on the caste conflicts and touching up on contemporary politics.
While the movie is predictable, the writing has kept the proceedings in an interesting manner. Arulnithi suits the role of an angry village youth.
It is easily one of his best performances in recent times. He has effectively emoted the anger and rage of his character. He shines in the stunt sequences as well.
Santhosh Prathap is good in his role and creates the much needed impact for the character.
Dushara Vijayan has delivered a decent performance and his portions with Arulnithi are good. Rest of the cast have also done their part well.
Imman’s BGM ups the ante in many places. Rest of the technical aspects are good.

Rating: 3.5/5
