Actor Karthi has officially announced his next film, titled ‘Marshal’, with the release of an intriguing first look. The film, a period action drama set in 1960s Rameshwaram, is directed by Tamizh, known for ‘Taanakkaran’.
‘Marshal’ is a collaborative production between Dream Warrior Pictures and IVY Entertainment.
The first look poster hints at a gritty and intense narrative, characteristic of Karthi’s recent choices.
The film features a stellar cast including Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead, alongside veteran actors Sathyaraj, Prabhu, Lal, John Kokken, and Easwari Rao. Sai Abhyankkar is composing the music, while Sathyan Sooryan handles cinematography and Philomin Raj is the editor.
The project marks Karthi’s 29th film and has already commenced production after a traditional pooja ceremony.
‘Marshal’ is planned as a pan-Indian release, hitting screens in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
