‘Thalaivi’ release postponed

The release of Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming flick ‘Thalaivi’ has been postponed due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases.

The makers have said that since the movie is made in multiple languages, they want it to be released on the sameday everywhere.

The film directed by A L Vijay is a biopic based on former Tamilnadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. Based on the trailer of the movie, which was recently released, the film will narrate the life story of the late politician from her days in the film industry as an actor.

The trailer also showed glimpses of the infamous assault on Jayalalithaa in the Tamilnadu Assembly. Kangana Ranaut who is playing the lead role was seen channeling the role of the great political figure.
