Kamal Haasan has teamed up with veteran filmmaker for the second time in his career, for the upcoming film ‘Thug Life’.
The project marks the celebrated actor-director duo’s second onscreen collaboration, after the 1987-released cult-classic film ‘Nayakan’.
‘Thug Life’, which is touted to be an out-and-out action thriller, garnered the attention of audiences with the promising announcement teaser.
Now the sources close to the project have dropped some exciting updates on Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s ambitious project.
The highly anticipated project, which was officially announced in 2022, is finally set to go on floors after extensive pre-production that lasted over a year.
If the latest updates are to be believed, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam are now planning to kickstart the shooting of Thug Life by the last week of January 2024.
Trisha Krishnan is playing the female lead in the project, which stars Dulquer Salmaan and Jayam Ravi in the key roles. The project also stars a stellar supporting cast including Gautham Karthik and Abhirami, along with many others. AR Rahman composes the music.
