The sequel to the global blockbuster ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has officially gone on floors in Shankarpally, Hyderabad.
Reports confirm that cinematic legends Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan have already begun filming their high-intensity face-off scenes.
Prabhas is expected to join the sets in a later schedule as he currently balances work on ‘Spirit’.
However, the biggest shocker is a rumored major casting shift: Sai Pallavi is reportedly in talks to take over the pivotal role of Sumathi (previously played by Deepika Padukone).
While the makers haven’t officially confirmed the replacement, the “Sai Pallavi for Kalki” rumors are currently the top trending topic on social media.
The current schedule is being executed on a massive, secretive set built specifically for a futuristic sequence involving Supreme Yaskin’s Complex.
