Dulquer Salmaan’s Tamil period drama, ‘Kaantha’, is gearing up for its digital premiere following its theatrical release on November 14, 2025.

The film, which is set in 1950s Madras and explores the complex relationship between a celebrated director (Samuthirakani) and a rising star (Dulquer Salmaan), has had its digital streaming rights secured by Netflix.

While the official announcement from the platform is awaited, industry buzz strongly suggests that Kaantha is expected to begin streaming on Netflix starting December 12, 2025.
