‘Chiyaan’ Vikram is currently busy with ‘Cobra’ directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of ‘Imaikka Nodigal’ fame. The latest update about the movie is that it would hit the big screens on May 22 ahead of Ramadan.
After wrapping up a schedule in Kolkata, the team of ‘Cobra’ is currently shooting in Chennai. The director, it is learnt, is planning to shoot the flick’s upcoming schedule in Europe and Russia.
The film is produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner Seven Screen and the music is composed by Oscar-Grammy winner AR Rahman. The movie has been titled ‘Cobra’ because it resembles the character of the hero. Srinidhi Shetty, Indian Cricketer Irfan Pathan, KS Ravikumar and several others play key roles in the movie.
If sources are to be believed, Vikram will sport more than 23 looks in ;Cobra’, which will be loaded with adrenaline-pumping action. It must be noted that Rahman has reduced composing music for Tamil films and only picking the right projects. It is said he was thoroughly impressed by the script of Vikram-Ajay film which was why he accepted to score music for it.
