As ‘Viduthalai 2’ is gearing up for a release on December 20, the latest update from the makers is that music composer Ilaiyaraaja has completed working on the background score.
Photos of the composer with the film’s director, Vetrimaaran and producer, Elred Kumar, are making rounds on social media.
Helmed by Vetrimaaran, ‘Viduthalai’ Parts 1 and 2 star Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.
Manju Warrier will be seen as Vijay Sethupathi’s partner in the second part of the film. The second part is expected to delve more into the Perumal Vathiyar (Vijay Sethupathi) character, of which we could only see glimpses in the first part.
‘Viduthalai Part 2’ will also see Chethan, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, Ilavarasu, Balaji Sakthivel, Saravana Subbiah, and Munnar Ramesh reprising their roles from the first film.
On the technical team, ‘Viduthalai Part 2’ has cinematography handled by R. Velraj and editing by R Ramar. It is produced by Elred Kumar under the RS Infotainment banner and Vetrimaaran’s Grass Root Film Company. The films were earlier screened at the Rotterdam Film Festival.
