‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is one of the most anticipated movies of Kollywood. The magnum opus directed by Mani Ratnam has an ensemble of cast including Karthi, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Chiyaan Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Shooting for the movie was wrapped up last year following which the post-production works commenced.
Now the latest buzz is that the makers are planning to release a character introduction video along with the release date of the movie in the coming week.
This will also kick-start the promotions of this most expected project. The film is based on the novel of the same name, written by Kalki Krishnamoorthy.
Jayam Ravi plays the titular role while Karthi plays the character of Vandhiyadevan.
