Today is the birthday of actor and DMDK founder-president Vijayakanth, who is fondly called as Captain by fans and party members. To mark the occasion, the actor-turned-politician has posted a selfie with his family on his social media page.

Vijayakanth, who is inactive in politics for the past couple of years due to health reasons, would bounce back soon, said sources close to him. “The latest medical treatment has worked well and there is remarkable improvement in Captain’s health,” they said.
