Director S P Jananathan has been admitted to the ICU of a private hospital in Chennai after he was found unconscious on Thursday evening.
Sources say that he is critical and is under observation. Vijay Sethupathi, Ameer and Karu Palaniappan had visited the hospital, however were denied permission to see Jananthan.
Later Vijay Sethupathi alone was allowed, sources said and added that Jananathan was found unconscious in his room by one of his assistants.
It is said that Jananathan who was overseeing the editing work of his upcoming flick ‘Laabam’ with Vijay Sethupathi did not return to the studio after going home for lunch.

Reliable sources say that the doctors have said that they would not be able to give any further treatment to director S.P.Jananathan. It is said that S.P.Jananathan would be moved out from Apollo Hospitals by 02:00 pm today(12th March 2021) to his another house at Kutchery road in Mylapore,
