With just weeks after the project hit the floors, the shoot of Simbu aka STR starrer ‘Eeswaran’, directed by Suseenthiran, has been completed. And, the team is planning to release the teaser for Deepavali.
Confirming these two developments, Silambarasan, who recently entered social media, tweeted, “#ShootCompleted #EeswaranTeaserForDiwali. I heart fully thank each and everyone of my team #Eeswaran for this beautiful journey! & Special thanks to all my fans for all the love and support.”
Produced by KV Durai’s D Company in association with MDM Sharfudden, the film is a rural entertainer set in the backdrop of southern Tamil Nadu. For this flick, STR had lost almost 20 kgs and stunned the fans with his transformation.
Recently, a complaint was been filed against Simbu with the Forest department, after a video showed him catching snakes on the sets of ‘Eeswaran’. While fans were elated over the video which has gone viral, it is said a few activists have filed complaint with the Forest department seeking action against STR.
