Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is currently working on a film titled ‘Acharya’, has asked his fans to take enough precautionary measures to prevent themselves from Coronavirus.
In a video, Chiranjeevi said, “The entire world today is hiding behind doors from this deadly virus. Let us not panic, let us not ignore this outbreak either. Let us all quarantine ourselves and avoid public gatherings for a few days.”
He also said, “If any of you show the slightest symptoms like cough, cold and fever, do not fail to visit a doctor nearby. Together, we can face this pandemic, but with proper precautions. Wash your hands for 20 seconds for at least 8 times a day. Stay safe.”
Tweeting the video, B A Raju said, “A word of caution from Mega Star Chiranjeevi. Stay safe. #Covid19 #Covid19India.” It is to be noted that Chiranjeevi’s son and top star Ram Charan, who is currently shooting with NTR Junior for ace director S S Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, has urged his fans to avoid large gatherings, ahead of his birthday on March 27, in view of coronavirus.

The ‘Mahadheera’ actor added. “In such a situation, it is better to follow directives and avoid holding crowded events. Keeping this in mind, I urge my fans to not celebrate my birthday this year.”
He further said, “Please instead put in efforts in following the steps and spreading awareness about corona virus. That’s the gift I want this year for my birthday and I hope with all my heart that you heed my request.”
