Actor Thavasi who is popular for his characters in ‘Varutha Padatha Vaalibar Sangam’ and ‘Kannae Kalaimaney’ has been affected by foodpipe cancer.
He rose to fame after playing Soori’s father in ‘Varutha Padatha Vaalibar Sangam’. He is at present getting treated at the Madurai Saravana hospital.
The expenses for his treatment are being taken care of by Thiruparankundarm MLA Saravanan under his Suriya Trust which runs the hospital.
Earlier, the actor’s son requested the fans and film fraternity to help for the treatment of his father. Fans are shocked and saddened to see the actor’s present condition.
