Director Suseenthiran’s mother Jayalakshmi has passed away suddenly due to a massive heart attack on Friday. She was 62 years old and was in her native place Ottanchathiram where she passed away around 11 am.
Jayalakshmi is survived by her husband Nalluswamy and three sons including Suseenthiran and producer Thai Saravanan and a daughter.
It may be noted that Suseenthiran’s new movie ‘Easwaran’ starring Simbu and Nandita Shwetha released on Pongal and has been received well by both Simbu and Suseenthiran fans.
Suseenthiran is a director, lyricist and screenwriter. He rose to fame with his directorial debut ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’ in 2009 and received rave accolades.
Following the success of his debut film, he started his next project ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’ by August 2009. This film, starring Karthi and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles, opened to highly positive reviews and emerged a commercial success as well.
