Director S P Jananathan, known for revolutionary films, died at a private hospital in Chennai on Sunday.
Jananathan, who was at directing Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Laabam’, with was
found unconscious at his residence two days back and was rushed to Apollo hospitals and was put on ventilator
support.
He was declared brain dead by doctors. He did not gain consciousness after that despite multiple attempts to revive him and died today morning.
Various film personalities have expressed shock and condolence over his death and paid tributes.
