There were widespread talks that Dhanush’s ‘Jagamey Thandhiram’ directed by Karthik Subbaraj will be released on OTT. However there was no official confirmation from the side of the producers on this.
For the first time Dhanush has openly spoke about the issue. He said that he hopes that the movie releases in theaters.
Dhanush has tweeted, “I am hoping for the theatrical release of Jagame Thandiram like the theatre owners, exhibitors, distributors, cinema lovers and most of all my fans. Fingers crossed”.
The movie is bankrolled by Sashikanth of Y Not studios. We will have to wait and see what the producers decide.
Meanwhile, the release date of Dhanush’s upcoming flick ‘Karnan’ was announced recently. ‘Karnan’ producer Kalaipuli S Thanu said that the movie will have theaterical release in April.
