Dhanush had recently wrapped up the shooting for ‘Naane Varuven’ directed by Selvaraghavan. Now the actor has resumed shooting for his
maiden Tamil-Telugu bilingual Vaathi’.
‘Vaathi’ is directed by Venky Atluri and is billed to be an action oriented social drama that takes potshots at the modern day education system. Telugu version of the movie has been titled ‘Sir’.
Samyuktha Menon is the heroine in this film. Music for the movie is by G V Prakash. Dinesh Krishnan is handling the cinematography and Navin Nooli in-charge of editing.
