After ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’, ‘Kutty’, and ‘Uthamaputhiran’, the success combo of Dhanush and director Mithran Jawahar are all set to join hands for the fourth time for a new film.
If sources are to be believed, their new venture will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures. Interestingly, Sun Pictures is currently producing ‘Annaatthe’, starring Dhanush’s father-in-law and superstar Rajinikanth.
Dhanush and Hansika, who had earlier shared the screen space in Suraj-helmed ‘Mappillai’ in 2011, are set to join hands once again in this Mithran Jawahar directed film, it is said. With the government relaxing shoting restrictions, the project would hit the floors soon.
Dhanush himself is said to have penned the script. “The film will be a fun, quirky entertainer and Hansika is happy to team up with Dhanush after a long gap of nine years,” sources said, adding that an official announcement about the project is expected to be made soon.
Dhanush’s ‘Jagame Thanthiram’ directed by Karthik Subbaraj is waiting for release and it is said the movie would hit an OTT platform considering the present Covid-19 pandemic situation.
