Sathya Jyothi Films, which recently bankrolled Dhanush-starrer ‘Pattaas’ directed by Durai Senthilkumar, has roped in the National Award winning actor once again, this time for a film to be helmed by Karthick Naren.
If sources are to be believed, the film will be a crime thriller. “It is a murder mystery and the movie’ s shoot would be completed in one go. The film will hit the screens in October,” sources say.
Dhanush is currently busy with a string of projects including Karthik Subbaraj-directed ‘Suruli’, Maari Selvaraj’s Karnan and Hindi film ‘Atrangi Re’.
While Lal plays Yemen in ‘Karnan’ , Dhanush plays the titular role. The looks shared by Lal recently featured both him and Dhanush as rural men. Rajisha Vijayan of ‘Anuraga Karikkin Vellam’ fame plays Dhanush’s pair in the film.
Recently, there were reports that Dhanush would soon join hands with director Mithran Jawahar of ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’, ‘Uthamaputhiran’ and ‘Kutty’ fame for a new movie.
