“BP 180 is a riveting thriller about the battle between an angel and a demon,” says director JP.

“BP 180 represents a dangerous medical and psychological condition in which individuals, under the influence of narcotics, experience an extreme spike in blood pressure. At this stage, their humane sixth sense collapses, altering behavior to that of a five-sensed animal,” explains JP. “We live in a time where we witness horrifying acts, groups of men violently slaughtering another, or individuals committing brutal assaults on women. These are people who, metaphorically and medically, embody BP 180. In our film, Daniel Balaji’s character is someone afflicted with this condition. Tanya Ravichandran plays a doctor determined to treat him, relentlessly striving to transform a dangerous soul. Whether this ‘angel’ succeeds in saving or ultimately destroying this ‘devil’ forms the essence of the film’s conflict.”

JP also expresses heartfelt gratitude to his producers, Mr. Pratik D. Chhatbar and Mr. Atul M. Bosamiya, of Radiant International Films and Atul India Movies, for placing their trust in his vision. Alongside Tanya Ravichandran and Daniel Balaji, the film features an ensemble cast including K. Bhagyaraj, Thamizh, Aruldoss, and others. “BP 180” boasts a strong technical team, with Ghibran composing the music, Ilaiyaraaja handling the editing, and Ramalingam serving as the cinematographer.
