After much uncertainty due to tussle between producers, theatre owners and digital service providers over VPF charges, it has been finally decided to release Tamil films this Deepavali.
According to a statement from Tamil Film Active Producers Association headed by Bharathiraja, “This is a temporary victory. We will be releasing films only for November. If the service producers continue to charge VPF from us, then there will be not any new releases in December and subsequent months.”
Following this, it is said Santhosh P Jayakumar’s adult comedy ‘Irandam Kuththu’ and Santhanam-starrer ‘Biskoth’ will hit the screens for the festival of lights.
Trident Arts tweeted, “#Biskoth to bring back your happiness this Diwali! Let’s celebrate it with fun-filled & a complete laughter riot Grand release by @tridentartsoffl on Nov 14
Santhosh Jayakumar tweeted, “To All who tot #IrandamKuththu is not censored and will not clear censor. Here’s the censor certificate and release date #HappyDiwaliFolks 14thNov2020 See you all in theatres.”
