Pandu and his wife Kumudha were admitted to a private hospital after getting infected by the virus.

Today morning Pandu breathed his last while his wife is still in ICU. He is popular not just for his acting skills, but also for designing the two leaves symbol of AIADMK.

Meanwhile, Komagan who rose to fame with the ‘Ovvoru Pookalumey…’ song from ‘Autograph’ breathed his last after being affected by Coronavirus.

Komagan hails from Nagercoil and is blind from birth. He began his career as a moility instructor where he fell in love with his wife Anitha and married her.

Komagan started ‘Komagan’s Ragapriya’ comprising of visually challenged people. He was spotted by director Cheran and got the chance in ‘Autograph’. Following this he had worked in a few other films as well.

Later, he got a job at the ICF. Two weeks ago he developed corona symptoms and was getting treated at a private hospital. Since there was no development, he was again admitted at the ICF hospital where he breathed his last. It may be noted that Tamil Nadu government had recently announced Kalaimamani award for him.

Actor Pandu passes away

Popular actor Pandu passed away during the early hours of today. He was 74.

Pandu and his wife Kumudha, who had tested positive for Covid-19 recently, were getting treatment at a private hospital in Chennai.

Pandu breathed his last during the wee hours of today without responding to treatment. His wife continues to be in the ICU.

Pandu-Kumudha are parents to three sons- Prabhu, Panchu and Pintu. Pandu was successfully running a company called Capital Letters and beautifully designed nameboards of many leading film personalities’ residences and offices.

It is to be noted that it was Pandu who designed the flag of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.

நடிகர் பாண்டு காலமானார்

பிரபல நகைச்சுவை-குணச்சித்திர நடிகர் பாண்டு இன்று அதிகாலை காலமானர். அவருக்கு வயது 74.

கொவிட் பாதிப்பின் காரணமாக பாண்டு மற்றும் அவரது மனைவி குமுதா சென்னையில் உள்ள தனியார் மருத்துவமனை ஒன்றில் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வந்த நிலையில், இன்று அதிகாலை பாண்டுவின் உயிர் பிரிந்தது. அவரது மனைவி தீவிர சிகிச்சை பிரிவில் மருத்துவரகளின் கண்காணிப்பில் உள்ளார்.

பாண்டு-குமுதா தம்பதியினருக்கு பிரபு, பஞ்சு மற்றும் பின்டு ஆகிய மூன்று மகன்கள் உள்ளனர். கேப்பிடல் லெட்டர்ஸ் எனும் நிறுவனத்தை வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தி வந்த பாண்டு, பல்வேறு திரையுலக பிரபலங்களின் இல்லங்கள் மற்றும் நிறுவனங்களின் பெயர் பலகைகளை அழகுற வடிவமைத்து வந்தார்.

அனைத்திந்திய அண்ணா திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகத்தின் கொடியை வடிவமைத்ததும் பாண்டு தான் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
