During the nation’s fight with Covid-19, it is the frontline workers who are waging a brave battle by risking their lives. Venkatesh Daggubati has extended his gratitude to them.
Taking to Twitter, the actor posted, “I sincerely thank the central and state governments for their continued efforts in trying to minimize the impact of virus over the last 70 days.”
He said further: “To all the frontliners who toiled day and night to keep us safe, we can not thank you enough for putting yourself out there for all of us. Now that the gates are opening slowly, it is upto US – the citizens to take up the responsibility.”
The veteran added: “It is only that the lockdowns are coming to an end not the virus itself. Let us continue to make informed decisions and follow the safety protocols as we did during the lockdowns. Stay safe and continue to practise social distancing.”
He has also asked his fans to “Stay Safe and continue to practice social distancing!! #StaySafe”. Many of his fans have appreciated his gesture.
