Rajini regrets going to court over property tax issue
A day after the Madras High Court asked Rajinikanth’s counsel to withdraw the writ petition challenging the Rs.6.5 lakh property tax imposed by the Chennai Corporation, upon the Raghavendra Marriage hall that the actor owns, the Superstar broke his silence today.

This tweet has gone viral and fans are appreciating the nature of Rajinikanth. In his petition, Rajini told the court that the marriage hall has been vacant since March 24, 2020 because a lockdown had been announced to control the COVID-19 pandemic.
He argued that no revenue had been earned during this period and despite this, he got a property tax invoice from the Corporation on September 10, for the months of April through September.
