Bindu Madhavi quarantined

Bindu Madhavi has been quarantined at her apartment in Chennai for 14 days after a resident of the complex tested positive for Covid-19. It is learnt that Greater Chennai Corporation officials have closed the apartment gate and directed residents not to leave the premises for the next two weeks.

Posting a video of her apartment complex, which was apparently taken from her flat, the actress posted: “One of the resident in my apartment is tested covid positive and so it’s self isolation for all of us in the building for the next 14 days…. #redzone.”

Bindu Madhavi, who made her debut in Tamil with the film ‘Pokkisham’, and was part of movies such as ‘Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaniyum’ and ‘Jackson Durai’, is currently busy on movies like ‘Mayan’ and ‘Yaarukkum Anjael’.

After starting her acting career in Telugu, she shifted to Tamil cinema where she was part of several films including Veppam (2011), Kazhugu (2012), Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga (2013) and Pasanga 2 (2015).

Bindu Madhavi was born in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. Her father was in commercial tax department, due to which her family moved to various places including Tirupati, Nellore, Guntur, Tenali, Vijayawada and Hyderabad, before settling in Chennai, where she did her studies
