An epic biopic

Vijayanand

-Review

Nihal Rajput works in his dad Ananta Nag’s printing press and takes it to the next level. But he is not happy with his personal growth and starts a transport business. He faces so many issues in this process and reaches the next step.
In his journey, he takes up politics, and even starts a newspaper taking on the who’s who in the business. How he achieved so much in life is the story of the film.
Director Rishika Sharma has done a fantastic job in showcasing the biopic of Vijayanand.
She has presented his life in a decent manner and the execution is brilliant. The director has managed to keep the audience glued to the screen throughout the running time of the film. Nihal Rajput’s makeover as Vijayanand is good.
He literally lived in the given lead role and is impressive with his acting. He has pulled off the role of the biggest logistic company owner with ease.
Anant Nag perfectly fitted in the father role and his screen presence is an advantage for the film.
Rest of the cast have also delivered what was expected from them. The movie is technically sound as well.
Production design work is fine as the earlier days are recreated nicely. Gopi Sundar’s music gels well with the theme of the movie.
Keerthan Poojary’s camerawork is good as he tried to capture the vintage texture in the film nicely.

Rating: 4/5
