The Warriorr

– Review

Ram Pothineni is a medical student who moves to a different city along with his mother in order to complete his house surgeon course.
Aadi rules this new city in a ruthless manner. He gets convicted for murdering the person who killed his father and this happens when he is 14. He returns from jail and takes over the entire city.
After seeing Aadi murdering a man in front of him, Ram tries to file a complaint on him in the police station. He faces a lot of difficulties due to it and gets beaten severely by Aadi. He is forced to leave the city but returns as DSP after a few years.
What does Ram do after that? How he puts an end to Aadi’s atrocities forms the rest of the story. Director Lingusamy is known for his mass moments.
Even with a simple story he keeps the audience engaged with his narration. He has followed the same template in this film as well.
Ram Pothineni is energetic as the cop and excels in the action and song sequences.
Krithi Shetty comes as an usual commercial heroine and does her part well.
Aadhi as the antagonist is terrifying. His look and expressions are wonderful and he did complete justice to the role he is given.
Rest of the cast have done their part well. Devi Sri Prasad’s background score is electrifying.

Rating: 3.5/5
