A decent dark comedy

Aishwarya Rajesh works in a jewel shop. She wins a car as the bumper prize for the jewel that she had purchased.
She plans to get her sister Lakshmi Priya married to Shah Ra by giving this car as dowry.
When Lakshmi Priya and Shah Ra take the car for a ride, they hit a person killing him. They hide the body in the car.
Next day Aishwarya’s brother Karunakaran claims that the car belongs to him as it was the prize given for the purchase that he had made.
The issue goes to the police station and the car is seized. What happens next forms the rest of the story.
Director S G Charles begins the movie at a slow pace and the screenplay gathers momentum as the film progresses.
With the entire plot revolving around just a few characters, Charles has managed to keep the proceedings in a fairly engaging manner.
Aishwarya Rajesh gets a meaty role, the entire plot of the movie is based on the twists that her character makes and she has done it in an impressive manner.
She scores in every frame that she appears, especially in the climax action sequences.
Deepa as Aishwarya Rajesh’s mother steals the show with his innocent humour.
Rest of the cast including Mime Gopi, Redin Kingsley, Sha Ra, Lakshmi Priya have all delivered what was expected from them.
Vishal Chandrashekhar has done a decent job with the background music.
Ajmal Tahseen’s songs are impressive. G Balamurugan and Vignesh Rajagopalan’s camerawork is good.
Rating: 3.5/5
