Kovai Sarala is a resident of a tiny hamlet in Kodaikanal. She lives with her granddaughter Nila. People around the town make ends meet by doing menial jobs.
Meanwhile Nila is gang-raped by friends of a politican who visit the vilage. Sarala seeks police help in bringing perpetrators of the crime to book. Does she get justice form the crux of the story.
Director Prabhu Solomon has highlighted the problems associated with the police department with some hard hitting dialogues as well.

Nila who plays Sembi in the movie stands out in her role. Her performance in the role is top notch.
Ashwin Kumar as the lawyer has made full use of the opportunity presented before him.
Rest of the cast including Thambi Ramaiah have done their part well. Nivas K Prasanna’s music is heartening.
