‘Payanigal Gavanikkavum’ is about how people share things in social media without knowing the authenticity. How such posts affect the person involved and the way it changes their life forms the rest of their life.
Vidharth suits the role of a middle class family head. He comes as a differently abled person and is convincing. The effort that he is put into the character is clearly visible on screen.
Vidharath shines in the scenes where he communicates with others and the scene in which he forgives the person who created problems in his life unknowingly.
Laskhmi Priya as Vidharth’s wife gets a small role but is impressive. The child artistes who come as Vidharth’s children too are cast aptly.
Karunakaran plays an important role in the flick. He too delivers a natural performance. His acting as a person with a guilty consciousness is top notch.
Director S P Sakthivel has credited the story line of the movie to the Malayalam flick Vikrudhi.
However, he has adapted it well for Tamil audience. The screenplay is also interesting and engaging, however the running time could have been reduced a bit. The movie is technically sound as well.
