– Review

JD is a murderer who is serving his term in prison. Vinod Saagar is an author who meets JD in the prison to write his story as a book.

During the conversation between the duo, Vinod Sagar tells JD that a book can change a person’s life.

When JD asks how that can be true, Vinod starts narrating his story from the readers point of view.

Director Rahul Kabali has tried to present the movie in an interesting and complex manner.

While this has worked out well, it also becomes the weakness of the movie.

Though JD plays the main role in the movie, Guru Somasundaram, Hareesh Uthaman, Sai Priyanka Ruth, Harish Raju and Jack Robin play his character in different situations in various timelines.

With such an ensemble of cast, all of them have done their part well and have delivered what the director expected.

Background music by K is one of the biggest strength of the movie.

Praveen’s camera has captured each timeline in a different pattern.

Rest of the technical aspects of the movie are good as well.

Rating: 3.3/5
