Actor Arjun has released a video, urging people to stay indoors and to follow the guidelines issued by the government to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
He said in the video, “I have said it before and will say it again, for the government to be able to help us; we need to help it in return too. We have been asked to not go out but a certain percentage of citizens still don’t listen, I don’t understand why.
Understand that this is serious and use your common sense. The whole world is on a lockdown. They haven’t asked you to do much other than stay at home with your family. Please stay home to save yourself and your family both. We need to look at this with a positive perspective.”
He added: “I’ve also been plagued by the fact that doctors and policemen are being beaten up. The people who are trying to protect you by leaving their own families at home and taking risk are the ones we’re beating up. We should treat them like gods, not treat them without humanity.”
He also said, “Police are asking you to go home and beating you up because you’re not listening to them. If these doctors or policemen were from our family, wouldn’t we be broken hearted if they were treated this way? Everyone should be treated like family now, we are all one.”
