Superstar Rajinikanth, who has already donated Rs 50 lakh to Film Employees Federation of South India to reach out to the needy workers during the coronavirus lockdown, has now decided to provide groceries for 1000 members of Nadigar Sangam.
According to sources, the ‘thalaivar’ took the decision after he came to know that many junior artistes and senior members of the South Indian Artistes Association are suffering to make their ends meet duet to lockdown.
Already, members of Rajini Makkal Mandram are actively carrying out relief activities across Tamil Nadu, by helping the many needful people by supplying vegetables, rice bags, milk packets, and other essential things, it is to be noted.
On the professional front, Rajini was busy shooting for ‘Annaatthe’ when the lockdown was announced. The film produced by Sun Pictures is being helmed by Siva. Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Khushbu, Meena, Suri and Prakash Raj play ke roles in the movie, which has musical score by D Imman.
