Photos of a quarantine sticker pasted by the Chennai Corporation officials in front of Kamal Haasan’s residence at Alwarpet in Chennai went viral today.
Rumours also suggested that he could have contracted the coronavirus. However, the actor-politician blatantly denied the news in his recent statement.
He said that his Alwarpet residence has been converted into his party (Makkal Needhi Maiam) office. He added that he resides in another house and is presently in self-isolation as a precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, Corporation officials removed the sticker. Greater Chennai Corporation G Prakash said, “Our staff pasted the quarantine sticker at Kamal Haasan’s residence because Gautami (his ex-partner) had returned from Dubai recently and her passport has his address.”
