Actress Shirin Kanchwala, who found a groovy reception for her debut film ‘Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja’ is keeping her fingers crossed for the success of her upcoming film ‘Walter’.
“When Anbu narrated me the script, it was a feeling of mixed emotions, where it excited me for its thrills, twist-turn and quite shocking as it involved some real-life issues indeed,” says Shirin Kanchwala, who smilingly brings up a fact, “Coincidentally, I am a part of a socially-content driven films.” She continues to add, “Despite the film being set against the tensed backdrops, Anbu has crafted the tale with good prominence for romance as well. Usually, films belonging to this paradigm wouldn’t allot importance to heroines, but he has offered me a substantial role and I am happy to be a part of it. I thank Sibiraj sir for being so much supportive. There were many moments, where I took the time to get the dialogues and he was patient enough to help me. Being part of a film that has ace actors like Samuthirakani sir, Natty sir, Riythvika and many others is a great experience. I am looking forward to the film’s release and strongly believe that ‘Walter’ will entertain audiences with its commercial ingredients and deliver valuable content as well.”
Produced by Shruthi Tilak for 11:11 Productions, the film is directed by U. Anbu, who embarks on his journey as a director. Samuthirakani and Natty are playing crucial roles in this movie, which has Riythvika, Yamini Chandar, Charlie and many more familiar actors. The film is gearing up for worldwide release on March 13, 2020.
