One of the most anticipated Hindi web series of the year, ‘Matka King’, has officially locked its digital premiere.
Streaming giant Amazon Prime Video announced—coinciding with lead actor Vijay Varma’s birthday—that the series will premiere worldwide on April 17, 2026.
Directed by Nagraj Popatrao Manjule (Sairat), the series is set in 1960s Bombay and follows the rise of Brij Bhatti (Vijay Varma), an enterprising cotton trader who builds a massive gambling empire.
The show features an ensemble cast including Kritika Kamra, Gulshan Grover, and Sai Tamhankar, and will be available in over 240 countries and territories.
