In a massive push for its international campaign, SS Rajamouli’s globe-trotting epic, ‘Varanasi’ starring Mahesh Babu, is set to showcase exclusive content at CCXP Mexico 2026 next month.
The presentation is expected to include never-before-seen footage of the film’s ambitious Antarctica schedule, making it the first Indian production to film on the Ross Ice Shelf.
Billed as a time-travel adventure blending cosmic disaster with Indian mythology, the film features Mahesh Babu as Rudra, Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Mandakini, and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist, Kumbha.
With a staggering budget and a global rollout planned for April 7, 2027, across more than 120 countries, the CCXP showcase is designed to solidify the film’s standing as a “global cinematic movement” following the Oscar-winning success of RRR.
