The Punjagutta Police in Hyderabad arrested young and upcoming actor Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari.
Jagadeesh is popular for his role of Allu Arjun’s sidekick Keshava in the blockbuster pan-India action drama, ‘Pushpa The Rise’.
According to the latest reports, Jagadeesh has been arrested in connection with the death of a young female junior artiste who ended her life by suicide on November 29.
During the investigation, the Punjagutta Police found out that Jagadeesh secretly filmed the deceased woman while she was with another man on November 27.
Jagadeesh allegedly blackmailed the woman and threatened to publish her private pictures on the internet following which she took her life by hanging herself in her room.
Jagadeesh was reportedly absconding ever since the woman’s tragic death, and cops finally nabbed him today and sent him to remand. More details about this case are awaited.
