The upcoming horror thriller ‘Kishkindhapuri’, starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran, has officially been certified ‘A’ by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
In a rare move, the filmmakers have embraced the adult rating, announcing that the film was passed with zero cuts, allowing director Koushik Pegallapati to present his vision exactly as intended.
The production company, Shine Screens, took to social media to share the news, adding a tagline, “Get ready to scream and get scared with new-age horror in its most massive form.
Kids & the faint-hearted, stay away.” This bold strategy sets the film apart as it prepares for a theatrical release on September 12, 2025, where it will face off against Teja Sajja’s Mirai. The story is said to revolve around a group of people who get trapped in a haunted radio station and must fight to escape a malevolent spirit.
