Actress Hansika Motwani and her businessman husband, Sohael Khaturiya, have officially ended their marriage.
The Bandra Family Court in Mumbai granted the decree on March 11, 2026, concluding a mutual consent petition that was filed earlier this year.
The couple, who married in a grand ceremony at Jaipur’s Mundota Fort in December 2022, had reportedly been living separately since July 2, 2024.
According to court filings, the separation was driven by “fundamental incompatibilities” in lifestyle and temperament that emerged shortly after their wedding.
In a notable move, Hansika’s legal team confirmed that she has waived all claims to alimony, financial settlements, or “streedhan,” opting instead for a dignified and amicable closure.
Both families reportedly attempted multiple rounds of mediation over the last 18 months, but the couple eventually decided that a permanent legal separation was the best path forward.
Hansika has already pivoted back to her professional commitments, focusing on her upcoming Tamil and Telugu projects.
